Quynh’s Therapy

A steady space to understand your experience.

My work begins with taking time to understand you — your history, your present life, and the direction you would like things to move towards.

How it can feel to work with me

Clients often describe our work as calm, gentle, and deeply present. There is space to slow down, to be met without judgement, and to explore your experiences from new perspectives.

We can be serious when needed — and we can also laugh. Therapy here can be a place where even the difficult, hidden, or protective parts of you are allowed to be seen and understood.

My background

I am a Mental Health Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the human services sector. My work has included practice in remote communities, facilitating women’s mental health groups, supporting children with disability, and working closely with children, young people who are survivors of sexual abuse, and their families.

These experiences have shaped how I understand the impacts of trauma — particularly how repeated, relational, or early experiences can influence a person’s sense of safety, connection, and self over time. This can show up as patterns of overwhelm, disconnection, or difficulty making sense of internal experiences, often without a single defining event.

I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, with a particular interest in complex trauma, neurodivergence, and supporting people of colour, while remaining attentive to the personal, cultural, and systemic contexts that shape each person’s experience.

What I care about

At the centre of my work is a respect for the complexity of each person’s experience. I am interested in understanding not only what has happened, but how it has been carried and made sense of over time.

I aim to support people to come to a more considered and compassionate understanding of themselves — recognising the ways they have adapted, endured, and continued, often in the face of significant difficulty.
